Northward's album will be released in October.
Floor Jansen , vocalist for Nightwish and former member of After Forever and Revamp , has joined forces with Jørn Viggo Lofstad , guitarist for Pagan's Mind , for the hard rock project Northward .
The self-titled album will be released on October 19th by Nuclear Blast and will feature Irene Jansen , on the track "Drifting Islands".
The album artwork was created by Hannes Van Dahl and Chris Rorland , drummer and guitarist of the Swedish band Sabaton , and the mixing was done by Jacob Hansen, who has previously worked with Avantasia, Epica , and Volbeat .
“We are both very proud and happy to finally be able to show you everything we have been working on. Here is our first single! We hope you enjoy it,” said Lofstad.
