According to the Daily Star [ via UCR ], a day after the tour announcement, Noel Gallagher commented on the matter: “The last tour wasn’t happy. The other guy is trying to rewrite the story that everything was great. It wasn’t.”
“It was a horrible last year for Oasis . You have one chance at life. Why be unhappy? Whether in your personal or professional life, why? You're just wasting something precious,” he concludes.
The Definitely Maybe Tour is scheduled to take place in June 2024 and will tour the UK and Ireland, featuring the album in its entirety, as well as B-sides. There is a possibility that the shows will include a guest appearance by the band's co-founding guitarist, Bonehead . Ticket sales begin Friday, the 20th .
Oasis has been separated since 2009, after their last show in Paris.
Oasis Meeting
talkSPORT radio , Noel commented on the possibility of reuniting with Oasis: “Well, I’ve expressed that idea publicly. [Liam] won’t call… I mean, he should call me, because he’s like, he’s always talking about it. You must have thought he had some kind of plan.”
“He doesn’t need to talk to me. He doesn’t talk to me, he’s a coward. So he should have someone from his staff, his agent, call my staff and say, ‘Look, this is what we’re thinking.’ And then we’ll have a conversation about it. Until then, he’s not being honest,” the artist concluded.
