Noel Gallagher broke his silence and responded to the huge rush for tickets to the Oasis .
The tour marks the group's reunion after 15 years apart. Upon announcing their return, the demand for tickets to the highly anticipated series of shows was high, and the band revealed efforts to prevent the resale of tickets at inflated prices, issuing a statement saying that tickets sold for profit on other websites would be canceled.
Now, in a new interview with former NME Kevin Cummins for his new book
Oasis: The Masterplan , Noel Gallagher said he was surprised by the scale of the demand: “I thought it would be a big deal, but I was a little surprised at how big it was.”
The musician also mentioned his favorite Oasis songs: "Can I have more than one? 'Supersonic', 'Some Might Say', 'Live Forever' and 'Rock'n'Roll Star'." Could this be a hint about which songs will be on the setlist? Maybe.
Oasis has confirmed shows in Brazil for November 22nd and 23rd, 2025 at Morumbi Stadium. Tickets for the 22nd are sold out, but it is possible to purchase tickets for the 23rd through Ticketmaster.
