Noel Gallagher delves into a celebration of the beauty of life in his new single “Open The Door, See What You Find,” the latest offering before the release of his new studio album, Council Skies , which will be released this Friday, June 2nd, by Sour Mash Records .
With Johnny Marr on guitar, the new song proposes a reflection that only comes with maturity. “Lyrically, the premise is that, at a certain point in your life, you look in the mirror and see everything you've been and everything you'll always be. It's about being happy with that. Being happy with where you are in life, with who you are, and where you're going. Life is good!” explained Noel.
The project with the band High Flying Birds has already had the singles “Easy Now” , “ Pretty Boy ”, “Dead To The World” and “ Trying To Find A World That's Been And Gone ” released previously, as well as the title track “Council Skies”.
Following the release of Council Skies this Friday, Noel Gallagher will embark on a 26-date US tour with American rockers Garbage. Afterwards, he will head to the UK for shows and festival appearances.
In recent months, Oasis reunion in 2025 have continued to gain traction, despite the constant feuds between Noel and his brother Liam Gallagher . "I'm open to a call. If that doesn't happen, stop playing games with the kids, it's not fair to the fans," Noel recently stated.
