Noel Gallagher decided to surprise fans with a New Year's gift by releasing a demo of a new song called "Trying To Find A World That's Been And Gone: Part 1".
The track is part of Gallagher's new album with the High Flying Birds , which was finished before Christmas and should have a release date soon. This is the group's first album since Who Built The Moon?, from 2017.
In a mailing list for fans, Noel Gallagher wrote: “I finished writing/recording the demos for the next NGHFB album about ten days ago. I thought you might want to hear this little sample which – just like last year’s – sounds quite appropriate for New Year’s Day.” Listen to the new song:
