Last May 12th, in San Bernardino, California, the Mayhem Fest , featuring a lineup packed with bands such as Architects , Jinjer , Poppy , Kittie , Seven Hours After Violet , Suicide Silence , Bad Omens , among others.
One of the performances that attracted a lot of attention was that of Bad Omens, who, in addition to bringing pyrotechnics and lights to their shows, were using new accessories in their stage costumes, including masks. It appeared that the masks were the kind used for skiing.
However, Noah Sebastian , the band's frontman, used a different mask from the other members, featuring some embroidery and, according to Jesea Lee of Sirius XM , the mask looked "burnt," or, as she put it, "like melted pumpkin egg on it."
Noah performed wearing this mask during the first two songs of the setlist, which were “Concrete Jungle” and “Artificial Suicide.” After that, Sebastian invited Poppy to join him on stage for the song “VAN,” and at that point, he was no longer wearing the mask, using only a hood to cover his face. By the end of the performance, the band members had also removed their masks.
The group performed on November 20th at Knotfest 2024 in São Paulo. Check out how the show went here.
