The band No One Spoke has released a bombastic version of "Kashmir" which appears on their newly released album, Stairway to Brazil… The Brazilian Tribute to Led Zeppelin . The album features 15 different bands, all with female vocals, performing reinterpretations of songs by the iconic English band.
No One Spoke had already released their first studio album this year, titled Nine Mirrors .
For vocalist Carla Domingues , the tribute concludes a year of intense work: “Even amidst the pandemic and so much uncertainty, especially in the artistic world, we can say that 2021 was an extremely remarkable year. We released our first album, recorded a music video, participated in live streams and virtual festivals. We had the very special participation of Rudy Sarzo on our CD. And finally, we joined the cast of this great Led Zeppelin tribute, which is certainly one of the most relevant bands of all time.”
The vocalist concludes: “We hope everyone enjoys this version as much as we enjoyed making it, and now we're hoping that next year everyone will be vaccinated and that shows will return to normal.”
Renato Pimentel , the producer responsible for Nine Mirrors and "Kashmir," was one of the great assets of these projects, as drummer Gabriel Porto : "Having Renato by our side certainly only brought us good results, both on the album and on the tribute."
Besides Carla Domingues and Gabriel Porto, No One Spoke consists of: Iva Giracca (violin), André Medeiros (guitar), Thiago Gonçalves (keyboards), and Artur Cipriani (bass).
