Nita Strauss intends to surprise fans with the collaborations on her new album. After the single "Dead Inside," featuring David Draiman of Disturbed , the guitarist promised "three powerful female vocalists" on the project and has now commented further on the decision to step outside her comfort zone of instrumental music.
“It’s really cool to get away from what I was used to doing as a guitarist,” she said in an interview with Lazer 103.3 radio (via Blabbermouth ). “And I couldn’t be happier. The song with David Draiman is everything we could have hoped for. We are, I believe, currently the most successful single by a female solo artist of all time on rock radio, it’s crazy to think about.”
Without revealing any new names, Nita expressed confidence in the new project. “It’s been a crazy journey. And some of the collaborations we have for the album are really going to surprise you, some will maybe be people you’d expect, but it’s all just going to be a really cool next step for me as an artist,” she concluded.
