Nita Strauss on the beginning of her career: "They constantly took advantage of me."

"It's very important to have good people around you," he advised

When she started her career, Nita Strauss didn't have any kind of team. Today known as Alice Cooper 's guitarist and for her solo career, the American pretended to be her own manager.

“When I was really doing everything myself, I was my own fake manager, and I sent emails,” she said in an interview with The Sessions Panel (via Metal Injection) . “My ‘manager’ was never available to talk on the phone because it was just me.”

The experience wasn't always positive, even with the fake intermediary. "They constantly took advantage of me. So it's very important to have good people around you," he advised.

Since 2015, Nita's career has been managed by her boyfriend, Josh Villalta . "I'm lucky that, besides being a fantastic boyfriend and drummer, Josh is a good manager," she celebrated. "He handles a good part of the work, all the business details."
