Nita Strauss , guitarist for Alice Cooper, released the video for her new solo single "Dead Inside" this Friday, the 15th, featuring David Draiman , vocalist for Disturbed .
Upon releasing the video, the guitarist said she was “honored to take this step alongside a legend like David Draiman.” She also mentioned that this is her first time releasing a song with a vocalist. “David’s voice and powerful lyrics have transformed this song to a level I could never have imagined! And we are very excited to release this song to the world.”
David Draiman added: “We’ve been friends for years and I’m incredibly proud of how [the song] turned out and honored to be a part of it.”
“Dead Inside” is Nita Strauss’ first solo song since the release of her debut album, Controlled Chaos , in 2018. It has not yet been announced whether the song will be part of the guitarist’s second solo album.
