On Tuesday, guitarist Nita Strauss released her new instrumental single, "Summer Storm."

The music video for the unreleased track shows footage of Nita on her most recent solo tour. The song follows her previous single, “Dead Inside,” which featured vocals by David Draiman of Disturbed . The collaboration was a success and made Nita Strauss the first solo female artist to have a song reach number one on Active Rock Radio.

Regarding the new single, Nita comments: “Instrumental music is where my heart is, and 'Summer Storm' is perhaps the song that I feel best captures my personal style: cathartic, driving, and emotional. While much of my upcoming album will feature guest vocalists, I’m also proud of the instrumental tracks and excited to finally release this one into the world!”
