Through a post on her Instagram , guitarist Nita Strauss Alice Cooper 's band after 8 years. Although she didn't give many details about the reason, she assured that her touring schedule remains quite full and that she will be back gradually "much sooner than you expect".

In her post, Strauss also announced that she had to cancel the festivals she had scheduled with her solo band for the rest of the year and clarified: “I’m not pregnant! There’s no drama and my tour schedule remains VERY full. In fact, I’m on a plane right now heading to my next adventure as I write this and I’ll be back on stage much sooner than you expect!”

Regarding her departure from Alice Cooper, Nita wrote: “The last eight years together have been a unique experience and I couldn’t be more grateful to Alice and Sheryl Cooper , Shep Gordon , the incredible band, the crew and the fans for welcoming me through all their nightmares. I don’t know what the future holds after this, but I will be forever grateful.”

Nita Strauss began her musical journey during her adolescence and joined Alice Cooper's band in 2014. She is considered one of the world's leading female guitarists and her solo career is widely successful. Currently, she is preparing to release a new solo album, which she believes will " surprise fans " and promises the participation of three "powerful female vocalists".
