Guitarist Nita Strauss , from Alice Cooper , who also toured with Demi Lovato , married her manager and drummer Josh Villalta on May 4th.

Loudwire spoke with the newlyweds and gained behind-the-scenes access to the wedding, which had a "modern Dracula" theme and took place at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel . Strauss didn't miss the opportunity to perform alongside David Draiman , lead singer of Disturbed , and his colleague Alice Cooper.

Although the musical moments featured special guests, the band that took charge was The Moon Units , and among the songs played, the setlist included "Enter Sandman" by Metallica and "Back in the USSR" by The Beatles . The groom was also present, playing the drums during the performances.

Nita Strauss's classic dance

Following wedding tradition, the bride and groom danced their first song, which was "More Than Words" by Extreme . A karaoke machine was set up at the reception, and the guests joined in the fun.

Regarding her vision of the wedding, Nita stated: “It was a very relaxed and fun way to spend the reception because we’re not a big dancing crowd. We didn’t have those formal dance moments or anything. We had a formal first dance, but beyond that, we didn’t expect all of our guests to get up and fill the dance floor.”
