Nita Strauss released her new single "Winner Takes All" this Wednesday, the 22nd, featuring Alice Cooper .
The track is part of the guitarist's upcoming solo album, which is expected to be released later in 2023, and is the fourth single from the project to be released. Also already available are the instrumental “Summer Storm” , “Dead Inside”, featuring vocals by David Draiman of Disturbed , and “The Wolf You Feed” , sung by Alissa White-Gluz of Arch Enemy .
Regarding “Winner Takes All”, Nita Strauss comments: “When we were working on this album there was no doubt that I wanted to create a song to collaborate with my longtime friend and boss, the legendary Alice Cooper.”
“I think the track achieved our goal – to showcase Alice’s voice and characteristic style as a backdrop for a heavy, modern rock track,” he explains. “After so many years lending my playing style to Alice’s songs on stage, it was truly an honor to work with him and hear his voice on one of my songs.”
After eight years as Alice Cooper's touring guitarist, Nita Strauss took a break in 2022 to tour with Demi Lovato , who was promoting her rock album, Holy Fvck (2022). Recently, Alice Cooper announced that Strauss will be back on stage with the band starting in April.
