The meeting took place at the Cal Jam festival, organized by the Foo Fighters.

Dave Grohl, Pat Smear , and Krist Novoselic , remaining members of the legendary band Nirvana , reunited at Cal Jam, a festival organized by the Foo Fighters, this past weekend.

Together, they played classics from the group led by Kurt Cobain such as “Smells Like Teen Spirit”, “In Bloom” and “All Apologies”. On that occasion, they invited Joan Jett, Brody Dalle ( The Distillers ) and John McCauley ( Deer Tick ) to replace Cobain on vocals.

The performance took place after the Foo Fighters' set at the festival and repeated the event that occurred in 2014, when the band was honored at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
