On Sunday night, the 5th, Nirvana received the Special Merit honorary Grammy.
The award was given to the iconic trio in the Lifetime Achievement category at a ceremony held alongside the main Grammy Awards event.
Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic were present to receive the honor, as was Pat Smear . Other names who received the honorary Grammy included The Supremes , Ann Wilson and Nancy Wilson , Nile Rogers , and more!
