Nirvana: Puddle of Mudd band delivers bizarre cover of "About a Girl"; watch it

of Mudd vocalist Wes Scantlin covered Nirvana SiriusXM radio in January of this year. The version is all over the internet, but certainly not for good reasons.

Kurt Cobain 's characteristic raspy voice ; however, the homage falls flat, sounding more like a parody than a cover.

The comments on the video attribute Scantlin's cover as yet another reason why 2020 was going to be worse... complicated, right?
