Nirvana releases remastered version of "Polly" rehearsal for MTV Unplugged

The Nirvana performance is one of the most famous on MTV Unplugged

Nirvana released a remastered version of the rehearsal for the track "Polly," from the album Nevermind (1991). The band was doing a soundcheck to record MTV Unplugged that same day in November 1993.

In the re-released track, Kurt Cobain (guitar), Krist Novoselic (bass), and Dave Grohl (drums) play the song acoustically, pausing to adjust their instruments and sound.

Nirvana's MTV Unplugged performance is one of the band's most iconic performances, which would end the following year after the suicide of Cobain, the vocalist and guitarist.
