Bassist plans farewell tour
In an interview backstage at a show in Australia, Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx said that the band is likely to break up after releasing their next two projects.
Sixx said he intends to finish the film being produced about the band's history ( The Dirt: Confessions Of The World's Most Notorious Rock Band ), release one more album, and embark on a farewell tour. "We did things the right way and we're never coming back."
He added that after a farewell tour, a band should never come back: "It has to be like a movie where you leave and say 'that was amazing!' and not 'oh, it was cool, maybe there'll be a sequel'."
