Nikki Sixx spoke about the movement fighting against sexual harassment
Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx has said he fully supports the #MeToo movement against sexual harassment of women.
Even though the band is one of the biggest of the 80s, it's best remembered for its crazy stories, which involve women and drugs. Many of these are in the biography The Dirt , which will be adapted into a film by Netflix.
Sixx was asked what he's learned about women over the past 35 years. “I 100% support the #MeToo movement. I think we're at a great point in terms of equality and we still have room to grow. Even though we're animals and the things we've done are crazy, we've never used any opportunity to demonstrate power. I'm not saying we're angels, but it was all consensual.”
The adaptation of The Dirt premieres on Netflix tomorrow, March 22nd. The soundtrack arrives on the same day and features many Crüe classics, as well as three new songs and a Madonna cover .
