Nightwish has released “The Day Of…”, the second single from their new album Yesterwynde , scheduled for release on September 20th.
The track follows the debut single, “Perfume Of The Timeless” , and according to the band, introduces the album's theme: mortality and humanism, concluding a lyrical trilogy that began with Endless Forms Most Beautiful (2015) and Human. :II: Nature (2020).
This is Nightwish's first studio album since Wishmaster (2000) without Marko Hietala , who left the band in January 2021 , and their first to feature Jukka Koskinen as the new bassist.
