The compilation album Decades was released on March 9th
Finnish band Nightwish, icons of Symphonic Metal, kicked off their Decades World Tour in Atlanta, United States, promoting the compilation album Decades , which features songs from throughout the band's career.
Keyboardist Tuomas Holopainen spoke about the choice of songs that would be included in the compilation: “If someone has never heard Nightwish and would like to get to know the band and understand what we've been through in the last twenty years, this album will be a great way. That was my philosophy while choosing the tracks.”
The tour promises to feature songs rarely or never performed live. The Decades World Tour will come to Brazil later this year, but the dates have not yet been confirmed.
Recently, Holopainen said that he already has 6 songs ready for the band's new album, which is expected to be released in 2020. Read more here.
