Nightwish postponed their Asian tour due to vocalist Floor Jansen . The treatment was initially scheduled for February, but had to be moved forward to January, the month the shows were to take place.

The Asian tour for the album Human. :II: Nature (2020) was originally scheduled to take place in China in 2020. However, due to the coronavirus pandemic, it was postponed to 2022 and then to 2023. Between these postponements, dates in other Asian countries were added.

In October, the vocalist revealed that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer after undergoing a routine mammogram. Days after the announcement, she underwent surgery to remove the tumor and recently came forward to say that she is cancer-free.

“Good news! I’m cancer-free. The surgery removed everything that was cancerous and it hasn’t spread! I’ll have local radiotherapy in February to make sure everything stays out. I’m regaining my energy after the surgery and I feel an enormous relief knowing it was a success! I’m not 100% back yet, but I have no doubt that the shows will give me the boost I need to rock for all of you on the upcoming European tour. Thank you for your incredible support and well wishes,” commented the Dutch singer.

Floor Jansen's return to the stage after the procedure was emotional. The artist was moved to tears during her performance of " Sleeping Sun " in Antwerp. The video of the moment can be seen at the end of this article.
