Tumba Productions announced on social media that the shows of the bands Nightfall , Héia , Enthroned , NervoChaos and Introtyl in southern Brazil have been cancelled.
Nightfall and Héia were scheduled to perform in Porto Alegre on May 19th, while Enthroned, NervoChaos, and Introtyl were scheduled to perform in the cities of Pelotas on June 12th, Santa Maria on June 13th, Porto Alegre on June 14th, and Caxias do Sul on June 15th.
“Even though there are days and even weeks until the dates initially chosen for the respective events, we understand that the best course of action is cancellation. Besides the structural difficulties that would be faced, there is no atmosphere conducive to holding the shows in those cities,” the production company wrote in the post you can see below.
According to the publication, tickets will be refunded. It is necessary to contact the point of sale for this.
"With the exception of Rio Grande do Sul, the other locations will host both tours without changes to dates or venues. The canceled dates are being rescheduled to other locations; more information will be available very soon," the producer explained.
The cancellation comes after an unprecedented tragedy that flooded more than 300 cities in Rio Grande do Sul, leaving thousands of people homeless. There are injuries and deaths among the victims.
The production company concluded the post by sending a message to the public: “We are confident in the resilience of the people of Rio Grande do Sul and that soon the affected cities will be rebuilt, alive and vibrant. And for people in other regions of the country, all help is welcome, whether it's clothes, food, personal hygiene products or pet food. Very soon we will be together again, celebrating the strength of Metal and in a completely different situation. Strength to Rio Grande do Sul!”
