Nicko McBrain talks about Dave Lombardo and Bill Ward.

Drummer says most problems are caused by money.

When discussing recent problems bands have had with their drummers, such as those of Slayer or Black Sabbath, Nicko McBrain said that most of the issues musicians face are caused by money.

Regarding Slayer's situation, McBrain said he thinks Kerry King went too far and probably regretted it. "I hope that's the situation and that they can work it out." He continued, "When you question the band's finances and hear 'shut up or you're out,' it means something's wrong."

In the case of Black Sabbath, the drummer admits he doesn't know much of the story, but "understands that Sharon Osbourne interfered in the negotiations."

Regarding his own relationship with Iron Maiden, Nicko says: “If I’m entitled to more than I earn, I don’t care. I’m happy!”
