Nicko McBrain has announced a series of talk-style presentations that will tour various countries between October and December, promoting his autobiography Hello Boys And Girls!.
Named after his book, the tour will give fans the opportunity to hear previously unreleased accounts of the drummer's Iron Maiden. The repertoire of stories includes behind-the-scenes stories from Iron Maiden, career highlights, personal challenges, and anecdotes accumulated over more than four decades in music.
The tour will begin in Frankfurt, Germany, a few days after the autobiography's release, scheduled for October 22nd. Following that, McBrain will visit cities in Germany, the Netherlands, Scandinavia, Ireland, and the United Kingdom.
In an official statement, the drummer stated that writing the book was an opportunity to revisit experiences that helped shape his life and career. “It’s a true honor to write my autobiography and have the chance to walk down memory lane, revisiting all the experiences that made me who I am and brought me to where I am today. And I’m excited and delighted to take these stories on the road and share them all with you. I feel truly blessed to be able to say hello, boys and girls, to everyone in person at the end of this year. We’re going to have a lot of fun together, so join me for a great night out. I have SO MANY stories I want to tell you all!”
