According to TMZ, " Sources from law enforcement officials say the drummer didn't fit the stereotype of a drug-related death ." This conclusion was reached after interviewing relatives and friends who stated that Menza had no recent history of drug abuse. Interviews indicate that the musician had been sober for 8 years.

Nick Menza died of a heart attack on stage while performing with his band OHM last Saturday.
Menza was the drummer for Megadeth , having participated in "Rust In Peace," "Countdown To Extinction," "Youthanasia," "Hidden Treasures," and "Cryptic Writings."
