Drummer Nick Mason recalled what it was like when he met Roger Waters and Rick Wright .
The trio met at a school in London in 1964. “Regent Street Polytechnic – that’s where I met them,” Mason told Brian Johnson Life On The Road program . “We were all studying to be architects.”
He recalls: “Roger knew I had a car. And he asked me to lend it to him. I said no… He also tried to ask me for a cigarette for Rick, who also said no.”
"It was an important moment because if it weren't for that, we wouldn't be sitting here now," he reflected.
