New York state will allow closed stadiums and arenas to reopen to 10% capacity starting this month, nearly a year after they were shut down due to the pandemic. The announcement was made this Wednesday, June 10th, by Governor Andrew Cuomo.

Barclays Center will be the first stadium to reopen, hosting the Brooklyn Nets NBA game against the Sacramento Kings on February 23rd. New York stadiums and arenas already have concerts scheduled for the second half of 2021, and it appears this plan remains in place. More information should be released as the vaccination campaign progresses in the country.
