Shavo Odadjian, from System Of A Down, spoke about a possible new album.

System Of A Down bassist Shavo Odadjian said the band has been producing new material. According to him, it's "better than anything we've ever done."

"Between you and me and the world, we have material that's better than anything we've ever done," he said. "And that's me talking. I can't wait to record and release it."

He said he thinks it's only a matter of time before that happens. “I hope it's sooner rather than later. But we're writing things together. Daron [ Malakian , guitarist] brought a lot of things. I brought things to Daron and we worked on them. I have so much that's ready to come out.”

Odadjian also spoke about the alleged fights between the members. Earlier this year, frontman Serj Tankian said that "creative differences" prevented a new album.

“We’re not fighting,” Odadjian said. “When we see each other, we’re very happy. It’s strange that we don’t have a new album, or many new albums. And it’s strange that we don’t do world tours. We do tour, but they’re so small.”
