The New Orchestra's presentation will take place on October 20th.
The repertoire of one of the most prominent classic rock bands, Led Zeppelin , which emerged in the late 1960s and won over a legion of fans worldwide, identified with the mesmerizing and often enigmatic lyrics, such as those of "Stairway to Heaven," "Immigrant Song," and "Kashmir," will receive a classic reinterpretation on October 20th at Allianz Parque Hall in São Paulo, when the Nova Orquestra, conducted by maestro Eder Paolozzi , will perform highlights from the group's entire discography.
The show, which celebrates the 50th anniversary of the British band's first two albums, will feature 32 musicians performing melodies in symphonic versions, without a singer. " Robert Plant comes from the audience, and that guarantees an exciting and totally surprising atmosphere," says conductor Eder Paolozzi.
Innovative, the project led by the Nova Orquestra seeks to provide unique experiences within the world of concert music, through more popular performances, blending creative repertoires in iconic venues, such as the Allianz Parque Hall stage. The symphony's debut takes place at one of the world's largest music events, Rock in Rio, where they will perform in a celebration of hip hop alongside Rael , Rincon Sapiência, Baco Exu do Blues, and Agir .
Tickets, which cost between R$ 52.50 and R$ 250, are already on sale through the website or at the Allianz Parque box office, located next to gate A (Rua Palestra Itália, 200).
With the show “Led Zeppelin in Concert”, Allianz Parque Hall consolidates itself as one of the venues that most supports the movement to popularize classical music, spearheaded by great conductors and the main Brazilian orchestras. The venue has already hosted reinterpretations of works by Pink Floyd, Queen, Metallica , as well as “in concert” versions of major film franchises such as Harry Potter and Star Wars . In August, the arena will also host a performance by João Carlos Martins , accompanied by the Bachiana Philharmonic Orchestra SESI-SP, with the duo Chitãozinho & Xororó .
