Gary Holt, guitarist for Exodus , confirmed that the band already has a new album. "We already have 80% of the next album ready," he confirmed. The album is expected to be released in March by Napalm Records.

In an interview with radio station 107.7 The Bone , the guitarist spoke about the successor to 2021's Persona Non Grata Mark Lewis has been mixing, and we've done some additional overdubs on other parts. It's something extraordinary, man… It's devastating, but it's also just anthems. Every song is an anthem. It's incredible. We're super proud of this record.”

The guitarist continued: “We already have 80% of the next album done,” he said. “We started recording on March 2nd and I’ve been home for four weeks. We stopped recording and went on tour the next day. We went to Europe and stayed home for two weeks. Then we toured the United States. I stayed home for two weeks, went to Europe and then joined Slayer for the summer 2025 shows. And then I came home for another two weeks. So, I’m exhausted.”

The new album will be Exodus' first since the departure of vocalist Steve “Zetro” Souza , and will feature Rob Dukes back in the band. It also marks the first album in almost three decades not mixed by Andy Sneap , as Gary Holt had already announced on social media: “First album since 97 mixed by someone else, and it’s killer. Andy said it’s time to get out of our comfort zone and it’s amazing. Mark NAILED IT!”

Exodus in Brazil

Exodus returns to Brazil this October for a single performance. The show is part of the 40th anniversary tour of the legendary album Bonded by Blood , and takes place this Thursday, the 9th, at Carioca Club in São Paulo. Tickets are on sale through the Clube do Ingresso website.

The audience will have the chance to experience this masterpiece in its entirety. Released in 1985, Bonded by Blood wasn't just an album – it was a declaration of war against the musical complacency of the time. Forty years later, every riff, every devastating solo by Gary Holt, every precise beat continues to resonate as a manifesto of cultural resistance.
