Sony Pictures has released a new exclusive teaser for Becoming Led Zeppelin a documentary that explores the origins of one of the greatest rock bands in history.

The video offers a glimpse into the first time the four members — Jimmy Page , Robert Plant , John Paul Jones , and John Bonham — played together, as well as the instant chemistry that defined the group.

In the excerpt, Page gives a behind-the-scenes look at their first interactions on stage. “I said that the very first thing I wanted to do was 'The Train Kept A-Rollin'. We just kept playing, doing little solos and everything, and Robert [Plant] was improvising.”

Furthermore, bassist John Paul Jones also recounts being surprised by Robert Plant's vocals. “I was expecting a soul singer, and there was this maniac screaming with this fantastic voice and range. I was like, 'What are you doing up there? You're going to hurt yourself, man.'”

Packed with rare archival footage and testimonials, the documentary directed by Bernard MacMahon promises to reveal previously unseen details of Led Zeppelin . Beyond exploring their revolutionary music, the film captures the intensity of their live performances, as well as the influences that shaped the band's unique sound.

With a premiere scheduled for February 7, 2025, the film will be shown in IMAX format and will even have special previews two days earlier, on the 5th. For rock fans, this will be an opportunity to rediscover the roots of Led Zeppelin from a new visual and historical perspective.
