This beer is the brand's third

Robinsons Brewery, the brewery behind Iron Maiden's "Trooper" beer, today launched the third variation of the beer, following "Trooper 666". "Trooper Red 'N' Black" is dark and the strongest of the three.

The new beer takes its name from the song "The Red and the Black ," from the band's latest album, "The Book of Souls." The name comes from the fact that the beer takes on a reddish hue when held up to the light.
