The virtuoso Power Trio from Indaiatuba
Daniel Dystyler: Starting off this National Pride segment, I'm very happy to bring you a band from the city where I live. It's a band from Indaiatuba, an instrumental power trio, and I think it's an excellent example of how many excellent bands there are in our country, with weight, with virtuoso musicians, these guys play incredibly well. Unfortunately, our country doesn't give space for these talents to really shine, and we're here fighting to open up those spaces, just like we did with Viper on Altas Horas. We're going to showcase this band called "Alien Groove" here on Wikimetal, a power trio, bass, drums, and guitar, purely instrumental, but you'll see how amazing their sound is. Rafinha already knows them; I've shown them this sound for a while now. They're producing, starting to record a second album. We're going to play a song from their first album, and the song we're going to play now is called "Nonsense".
Rafael Masini: And I'll say one thing, when Dani talked about them a long time ago, I, who had a bit of prejudice against instrumental music, was really, surprisingly, it opened my eyes to listening to other instrumental bands. The sound of these guys is really cool.
Nando Machado: Well, this was "Alien Groove" from Indaiatuba, with the song "Nonsense." Was this the first time an instrumental piece was played at Wikimetal?
DD: I think this is the first time we've played a whole instrumental piece. Big hug to the three of them in their power trio, and a hug from our power trio to Gerson, Viktor, and Rodrigo. And if anyone wants to get in touch with them, I think they left an email address: gersonlimafilho@gmail.com , for information about shows, CDs, their new album, you can contact them. Pretty cool, right, Nando?
NM: That's it, let's wrap up another National Pride event.
