Shawn Crahan Slipknot fans ! The band's co-founder, better known as Clown , expressed excitement about the material and finally updated the public on the progress of the recordings.
In a recent interview with channel 93X , the percussionist confirmed that the expectation is to release the successor to We Are Not Your Kind (2019) later this year. “But we still have a lot of time to finalize it. We hope to finish it by the end of July,” he added (via Ultimate Guitar ).
So far, Corey Taylor has hinted that the project may be conceptual . In other interviews, Clown has assured that he is being "very creative" during the recordings and praised the album's vocals. The masks for the new era also promise a new level of terror and have not been approved by the wives of the band members.
