Ronnie Wood revealed that a new Rolling Stones is ready and should be released in 2026.

The Sun 's Bizarre column , the guitarist was brief but assertive (via NME ). "Yes, you'll get a new album next year. It's already finished," he declared. Wood also commented that the band intends to tour again: "We want to do some dates. I hope it happens, but I'm still waiting to know for sure."

The new Rolling Stones album will be the successor to Hackney Diamonds (2023), which featured a variety of special guests ( Lady Gaga , Stevie Wonder , Paul McCartney , Elton John ) and won the Grammy for "Best Rock Album" at the 2025 ceremony.

The new album will be produced by Andrew Watt.

Last week, producer Andrew Watt ( Ozzy Osbourne , Pearl Jam ), who was responsible for Hackney Diamonds , confirmed that he was reuniting with the Stones to work on a new project.

Rumors about a new album, however, have been circulating since April , when an anonymous source reportedly told The Sun : “Mick, Keith and Ronnie have been secretly recording their new album with their drummer Steve Jordan . They have 13 songs they are happy with and are discussing when they can release them.”

Keith Richards ' son , Marlon , confirmed in an interview that the band was reunited and working together.

“They’re in town now, filming,” said Marlon (via NME ). “They’re in Chiswick or something like that. I think they’re almost done. They still keep insane hours: after lunch until about two in the morning.”
