Actor Christopher Lee, best known for his work in film, will release his second Heavy Metal CD on May 27th.
Famous for his roles as Dracula in the 1958 film and the wizard Saruman in The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Lee released his first album in the genre in 2010, with the CD “Charlemagne: By The Sword And The Cross”. According to the musician, his next release, “Charlemagne: The Omens Of Death”, is heavier than the first.

“On the first album, I sang more symphonic songs. The new CD is 100% Heavy Metal. I'm not screaming or anything like that, but it's definitely Heavy Metal.”.
The arrangements for the new album were done by Ritchie Faulkner, guitarist for Judas Priest. Faulkner commented: "It was surreal to hear Saruman singing Heavy Metal.".
