This Friday, the 27th, Nervosa announced the departure of another member: vocalist Diva Satânica .
According to the band's statement , Diva informed her colleagues of her departure in September 2022 and chose to fulfill Nervosa's already scheduled commitments, such as the Latin American tour. According to the band, the singer "fulfilled all activities with great professionalism and respect."
The statement also says that Diva decided to leave Nervosa because she "chose to invest more of her time in other projects and in her band." In a separate statement released by the vocalist , she declares: "The only reason that led me to this situation was the lack of agreement between both parties regarding the decision-making process in the band. Nothing more, no hard feelings towards anyone, just different ideas."
Diva also refuted the motivation pointed out by Nervosa, denying that her side projects had anything to do with her decision. “Just to be perfectly clear, this decision has nothing to do with my passion for making music and touring (I can’t wait to get back on the road again) and my commitment to my band Bloodhunter (and all the other projects and collaborations I’m part of), who have unconditionally supported me during these years I was part of Nervosa, and with whom we are already working on a new album and tour plans for 2023,” she concluded.
In turn, Nervosa announced that they should also begin recording their new album this week and that they have been working with a new vocalist for the past two months, as well as a new drummer. "It's not easy for either party, but life is made of choices and decisions. Please don't judge so harshly, because it's a very painful time for both sides," the band requested.
In December, Nervosa also announced the departure of drummer Nanu Villalba , claiming they hadn't reached "a common ground." Nanu was in the band for only 4 months, replacing drummer Eleni Nota , who left Nervosa to focus on her health and her own projects. In early January, the band announced Helena Kotina as their second guitarist .
