Nervosa announced via their social media that they will be performing at Wacken Open Air in 2023. The European heavy metal festival takes place between August 2nd and 5th in northern Germany.
The Brazilian heavy metal band was confirmed for the 2020 edition of Wacken , which did not take place due to the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. The festival returned to its original format last week, but the 2022 edition had a completely new lineup.
On social media, Nervosa wrote: “We are so happy and proud to announce that we will be at @wackenopenair.official next year. Nervosa was announced for Wacken in 2020, but they decided to change the lineup completely after the COVID cancellation, so here we go again! We're going to put on a special show, for sure.”
Tickets sold out
Through social media, Wacken Open Air announced with some astonishment that tickets for the 2023 edition sold out 5 hours after sales opened. "We simply can't believe what happened," they wrote.
In addition to Nervosa, other confirmed bands include Megadeth , Beartooth , Jinjer , Pentagram , and many more. "We're looking forward to many more great bands and a festival that will take you back to the Viking era," commented the organizers.
