In Brazil, unfortunately, the cliché that the success of others bothers people is more than evident

Hello friends!

I've been following the buzz about these girls for a long time, and the noise they're making in the underground scene.

It's remarkable how surprising it is that a band that many people hadn't even heard of could, in a matter of months, open for major international acts (Exodus, Raven, and the Artillery/Exumer combo), in addition to being in full swing every weekend, playing live everywhere, not to mention the massive publicity in the specialized media.

But do you know what that means in my opinion? Success.

The power trio knew how to exploit the barriers of our underground scene and knew how to promote themselves properly. And there's nothing wrong with using proper marketing. They are absolutely right and should appear on all specialized channels and media outlets, yes, be it podcasts, web radios, whatever.

And at no point was the strategy of using the image of an all-female thrash metal power trio misused. Of course, it does attract attention. At least it generates curiosity on the part of people to check it out and see what they're all about.

Regarding the sound, and as they emphasized, choosing the excellent track "Masked Betrayer" as the lead single and investing in a high-quality music video for a band that didn't even have a demo tape (at the time) was a bold and commendable move, and they deserve all the rewards they are reaping.

In Brazil, unfortunately, the cliché that the success of others bothers people is more than evident. We should applaud the girls for attracting the attention of legends like Schmier (Destruction) and Napalm Records, who signed them.

It's true that their sound isn't revolutionary, but it's uniquely sincere and sounds like it was made with a lot of passion, enthusiasm, and determination.

Is it simple? Yes, it's simple, but you know what's best about music? Musicians who know how to make something masterful out of simplicity. And they've achieved that. It's like making a simple spaghetti with tomato sauce. It's pasta and tomato sauce as ingredients, but knowing how to do it right, this simple dish will delight many people, and the girls, with their simple and direct thrash, heavily influenced by Destruction, have managed to achieve an excellent result.

And for that, the music takes precedence over the image. Let them use the marketing of being an all-female band playing vigorous and edgy thrash, because they have demonstrated talent and, above all, know how to promote themselves without resorting to sensual and daring photos.

Congratulations, and keep going down this path you've chosen, because it's the right one. And don't be discouraged by the occasional destructive criticism; pay attention to constructive criticism like this one I'm about to give you: Improve yourselves even more with your tools. With more resources, you will only grow.

Until next time.
