Prika Amaral , guitarist for the thrash metal band Nervosa , confirmed that the successor album to Perpetual Chaos (2021) is already in the creation process – and the best of the new lineup is yet to come.

In a recent interview with the Ibagenscast , the only remaining founding member of the band said that she has already finished some compositions for the album, but the creative process should continue for the rest of the year, with plans to enter the studio to record only in 2023. "You can expect a lot next year," she assured.

Prika spoke about the need to work with more time and calm on this new album, at a very different pace from previous recordings. “The girls have more experience now, they understand better what Nervosa is, what the public wants and likes. In the beginning, they didn't even have time to understand where they were going, it was all very turbulent, it was a time of great insecurity and many things happening, because of the pandemic and so on,” she said. “This album, I would like to make with a little more calm and time, because all of Nervosa's albums were recorded (…) with a lot of pressure and little time.”

Nervosa's most recent release, Perpetual Chaos , introduced the band to its new face with the arrival of three new members: vocalist Diva Satanica , bassist Mia Wallace , and drummer Eleni Nota , replacing Fernanda Lira (bass and vocals) and Luana Dametto (drummer). In this sudden arrival, in the midst of the pandemic, none of the newcomers were prepared for the reaction of the Brazilian public, with an explosion of followers immediately following the band's announcement. "You have no idea of the invasion [that will happen] on your social media. And start learning Portuguese because people will be speaking to you in Portuguese, whether you know it or not," warned Prika.
