Mia Wallace , bassist for Nervosa , announced her departure from the band and the tour due to "family issues." The news was revealed on the group's social media.
In a video, Mia explains that she will be unable to join the band due to family issues and that she needs to be with her family at the moment. She also says that the problem is very serious, but that she hopes to resolve it as soon as possible.
In the caption, Nervosa wrote in support of her fellow bassist's decision: “When a friend is going through a difficult time, the only option is to support her decision. Last week we tried to make the best decision for everyone, but unfortunately Mia will not be able to be part of the Latin American tour, as she is dealing with family issues and needs to resolve them as quickly as possible. We are with you, Mia!”
Mia Wallace will be replaced by Helena Kotina to continue promoting her latest album, Perpetual Chaos, released in January 2021.
Nervosa returns to the stage on September 21st in Mexico City, promising new surprises: “We are preparing a very special show for you, as it's been ten years since our first release. We have a lot of good surprises for this tour,” the group revealed.
