Nervosa announces new lineup; see it here.

"I guarantee that Nervosa is coming in full force," wrote Prika Amaral

The band Nervosa has announced the new names that will make up the group, following the departure of Fernanda Lira and Luana Dametto at the end of April.

The new Nervosa lineup will feature Diva Satanica on vocals, Prika Amaral on guitar, Mia Wallace on bass, and Eleni Nota on drums.

Guitarist Prika, who remained in the band after the departure of her former partners, and commented in an interview that she was holding auditions for the group's new lineup , wrote about her new bandmates.

“It was an incredible experience meeting more talented women. It wasn't easy to choose just one, and to say no to several really good women. But the criteria goes beyond musical competence. It involves availability, professional attitude, good communication, etc… But I'm very happy with the result, and very confident. I already have a lot of compositions saved and we've already started composing (which was one of the tests applied). We're going to release some material online until the Covid-19 situation is resolved. I guarantee that Nervosa is coming in full force.”.

Diva Satanica was chosen as the vocalist; she is currently the vocalist for the band Bloodhunter , where they have already performed several important shows, including alongside Nervosa.

On bass we have a big name, Mia Wallace, who has played with Abbath , Hellhammer , Triumph of Death, among others.

And on drums, the revelation Eleni Nota, a drummer with a powerful and energetic style, who currently plays in the progressive metal band Mask of Prospero and the band Croque Madame .

The decision to be a quartet was to give Nervosa a boost and show something different. This is a new phase, a new Nervosa, but still with its thrash/death essence, with riffs featuring a lot of picking and a strong groove, fast and technical drumming, a new and heavier bass sound with aggressive and super thrash vocals. A second guitarist is still an option, but not for the current moment, as it involves a lot of adaptation and a huge logistical challenge, but it's very possible for the future.

Thank you all for your support!
