The band Nervosa announced today, the 13th, the addition of Brazilian drummer Gabriela Abud to replace Michaela Naydenova . The announcements were made through a video posted by the band, which can be seen below.
In the video, Gabriela Abud thanks her predecessors and says that they "paved the way that allowed this opportunity to exist."
Bulgarian drummer Michaela Naydenova bid farewell to her fans through a video and her social media:
“At the end of last year, I decided to end my journey with Nervosa, and the time has come to announce this publicly. The reason is to challenge myself to experiment more in the musical field. And, of course, I will continue playing drums.”
I was in the band for almost a year, had a lot of fun, saw and played in many incredible places, and gained a lot of experience in a short time. I met many people and I am grateful to each and every one of them for their time and energy!
Thank you @prikaamaral, @helenakotinaofficial and @helpyre for all the great memories, I wish you all the best with Nervosa! Let's see what 2024 has in store.”
With Gabriel Abud now in the lineup, Nervosa will perform at the next edition of the Summer Breeze Brasil festival , which takes place between April 26 and 28 at the Memorial da América Latina in São Paulo.
