The year 2023 will bring many new things for Nervosa ! The first announcement is the official confirmation of Helena Kotina as the band's new second guitarist.
Karen Ramos left , they decided to remain a trio for logistical reasons. As their press office points out, this decision helped the band to tour on a low budget for many years.
In 2020, Nervosa underwent a complete lineup transformation after the departure of Fernanda Lira and Luana Dametto . As the only remaining member, Prika Amaral postponed her desire to add a second guitarist, since the band already had four members in the reformation.
A few months after the release of the album Perpetual Chaos , in March 2021, Helena was invited to join the band, participating in the composition of Nervosa's new album, scheduled for release in 2023.
At the end of 2022, when bassist Mia Wallace left the band due to personal issues, Helena stepped in to replace her on bass for the Latin American tour. The experience on the road paid off, and now Helena Kotina is officially the band's second guitarist, alongside Prika.
In December 2022, Nervosa announced that they would no longer be working with drummer Nanu Villalba , who had been with the band since August of that year. A replacement drummer has not yet been announced.
