Nervochaos released another music video this Thursday, the 23rd, for their upcoming album Chthonic Wrath , which will be released on March 31st. This time, the band offers a crushing lullaby for the end times in the video for “Lullaby Of Obliteration”.
With a more oppressive introduction, like a harbinger of the arrival of the final catastrophe to humanity in the style of Black Sabbath , Nervochaos brings another devastating track to the album, addressing the imminent end of civilization in the face of the corruption of political leaders and wars with nuclear weapons, whose end seems to be the total obliteration of the planet we live on.
With a blend of thrash and death metal as its guide, the song captures the suffocating feeling of the apocalypse caused by humanity itself and the despair of fighting against something predetermined. This feeling is represented in the track's cinematic photography video, in which this end is depicted in various ways.
The inspiration for the lyrics certainly comes from the period in which Nervochaos wrote the new album. The successor to All Colors of Darkness was created in the isolation of the pandemic.
In a recent interview with Wikimetal , drummer Edu Lane revealed behind-the-scenes details of the recording process for the project, the result of the band's sessions during the pandemic, and plans for promoting the new release, which includes an international tour with dates in Brazil. From the new project, the band has already released the singles “Son of Sin” , “Torn Apart” and “Taphephobia” . The album will be released via Emanzipation Productions and is already available for pre-order .
