Napalm Death releases new track; listen to “A Bellyful of Salt And Spleen”

“The range, gravity, and density demanded only a vocal that was as baritone and anguished as I could wrest from myself,” explains Mark

Napalm Death continues to release new previews for their new album, Throes Of Joy In The Jaws Of Defeatism , which arrives on September 18th via Century Media Records . This time, the track “A Bellyful of Salt And Spleen” was shared with fans.

“'Bellyful of Salt And Spleen,' you could say, is about rising and falling in the same discordant breath,” explains vocalist Mark 'Barney' Greenway . “The act of rising comes in the sense of many layers of a vibrant industrial environment, all marching to the beat of a homemade drum kit consisting of trash cans, oil drums, and pieces of industrial thread and other bits that Shane [Embury] could find scattered around the studio grounds. The range and gravity and density demanded only a vocal that was as baritone and anguished as I could wring out of myself.”

Recently, Napalm Death released the singles "Backlash Just Because" and "Amoral" .
