Nancy Wilson , from Heart , joined Heart on stage during a show at Chappell Roan last Sunday, the 21st, in New York, to perform together the hit “Barracuda,” from Heart’s 1977 Little Queen

Chappell Roan has already stated that "Barracuda" is her "favorite song," so she invited guitarist Nancy Wilson to play at her show, following a meeting between the artists earlier this year when Nancy met the singer backstage at a Heart concert in Los Angeles, offering to be "your rock and roll aunt if you need any advice," according to the Louder .

In an interview with BBC Radio , Roan said: “'Barracuda' is a song I wish I had written. It makes me feel the way I want to feel. Listening to that song, playing that song — sometimes I do a cover of it — that's how an artist feels, for me. I'm an artist when I listen to that song, when I play it. I strive every time I'm in the studio to make something as good as that.”

Roan also praised Ann Wilson , Heart's vocalist and Nancy's sister: "She has the best rock voice of all time, in my opinion. Ann Wilson, an unbelievable force. And so, so, so intimidating to me. I strive every day to sing with so much conviction and so much confidence."

Heart has recently announced new dates for their Royal Flush tour , extending it into 2026.
