Nancy Wilson plans a "triumphant return" in 2027 with the band Heart . In an interview on Andy Frasco World Saving podcast , the guitarist talks about her plans for 2027, which include a new studio album, as well as a biopic.

Initially, Wilson said she was in the creative phase and expressed excitement when talking about new music that is already in progress. Regarding the direction she intends to take, she said (via Blabbermouth ): “I feel like this is the perfect time for Heart — like, this year, next year — to take a triumphant turn through our legacy. I think we need to make another Heart album.”

Regarding performing with the current lineup, Nancy and her sister Ann  Wilson , vocalist of Heart, also expressed excitement: “There are no limits to what we can achieve as musicians… But I think I’ll want to make the last HEART album and take that triumphant return, and make 2027 the main year for the HEART movie, the HEART documentary.”

Nancy Wilson talks about biopic

The guitarist also provided updates on the biopic written and directed by Carrie Brownstein , produced for Amazon by Lynda Obst . The film is intended to depict the sisters' lives from childhood up to the 1990s.

Regarding who would play them, Nancy and Ann have their opinions, but they say, "Some things have come up, but nothing concrete yet."

Currently, the band Heart consists of the following members:

Nancy Wilson : Rhythm, lead and acoustic guitar, backing and lead vocals,
Ann Wilson : Lead vocals and flute,
Ryan Wariner : Lead and rhythm guitar,
Ryan Waters : Guitars,
Paul Moak : Guitars, keyboards and backing vocals,
Tony Lucido : Bass and backing vocals,
Sean Lane : Drums.
